Hello guys! Let's start the whole new journey of Nirmala’s life.

Riya's grandmother laid a curse on Nirmala, wishing for her to bear a lifeless daughter. Throughout Nirmala's pregnancy, her in-laws withheld support, denying her even basic necessities. They make her work from day to night. But destiny has a different plan for Nirmala. Nirmala gave birth to a beautiful little girl. The life of this little girl from the start was quite interesting. This little girl was born two months earlier. Isn’t it magical that this little girl was born through breech birth (the baby's buttocks or feet come out first rather than the head)? At that time, Nirmala had to give birth to that little child while feeding cows; no doctor or any help was provided to her. Breech births can present challenges during delivery and may increase the risk of complications, such as umbilical cord prolapse or head entrapment. After birth, that little child didn’t cry and didn’t show any response for an hour. I think nature wanted to prepare her for any situation. Meanwhile, Riya’s grandmother and aunt were happy and ready to celebrate the death of that little girl, considering she was dead. But destiny and the prayer of Nirmala play magic; the little girl starting to cry means she is alive, and the relief in the face of Nirmala must have been incomparable.

And after 8 days of birth for that little girl, with the traditional ritual, Nirmala named her daughter Riya. Yeah, the same Riya, who is now studying in the USA. When Ramesh (Riya’s father) heard the news of having a daughter, he was so happy, but due to a work emergency, he wasn’t able to come home to see his daughter. But at home, Nirmala was both happy and sad, and at the same time, she was scared to lose her daughter like the previous one. Also, after the birth of Riya, her grandmother and aunts were so pissed up that they were ready to kill this little child as well. In the 10 days since Riya’s birth, Nirmala was out at a relative's home. While returning from their trip with Riya, a heavy storm came, and heavy rainfall made it difficult for Riya and her new mother. When they arrived at home, Riya’s grandmother didn’t let them in. In that heavy rainfall, she made Nirmala and Riya stay outside the house. Isn’t it so bad? While I was listening to this struggle with Riya, I was so angry and wanted to punish them, but, you know, Riya was so good. She never spoke bad words about her grandmother and her aunt; she always believed in showing them progress rather than speaking loudly. Okay, let's come back to the story. That day, luckily, one neighbor came and took Nirmala and Riya to her home. In that time, people didn’t have many clothes, so you know the beautiful things a mother can do for her child: she can sacrifice anything and do anything in order to protect her child. Nirmala put her 10-day-old daughter in her clothes sleeves in order to protect her children from extreme cold and make her feel safe. Like those days were running, the hatred of Riya’s grandmother towards them was increasing day by day. When Riya was growing up, her aunt gave birth to a baby boy. You know, in the village area at that time, people gave preference to boys over girls (Well, this can be observed these days as well. However, it is not that prominent with respect to that time). Riya’s grandmother and her aunt used to carry that little boy. They used to feed him food and buy beautiful clothes, but for Riya, they were never concerned about buying anything. They always make fun of that little child.

After one year, Riya's father came home to meet her newborn daughter. He was so happy to see her little child. When he listened to all the things his mother did to his wife and daughter, he was feeling so disheartening. Even when Resham returns home, Riya’s grandmother suggests that Resham should marry other girls. Resham decided to stay at home to protect her daughter and wife. In the meantime, Riya’s grandmother always tried to break the marriage of Nirmala and Resham, but Resham was a good husband, as I said before. You know what? One day, when Resham and Nirmala went to work on the field, Riya’s grandmother destroyed all the clothes of little Riya’s and also the nutritious food for her. They started to plan to destroy the lives of Nirmala and Resham even furiously. When Nirmala and Resham were both out for work, they put Riya to sleep, as the little child wanted to play with toys. For almost 2–3 hours, Riya’s grandmother didn’t even touch her. She said my hand would be dirty if I touched this child. She let her cry for the whole three hours. When Resham and Nirmala returned from work, they saw the condition of the child and decided to leave the home, but Resham was innocent; he didn’t want to leave her mother.

One day, Riya’s grandmother takes all the money from Riya’s father, saying she needs money for treatment and to buy food for the house. But she actually planned to take them out of the house, giving them nothing. Like that, Riya’s grandmother and her whole family make her parents leave the house with nothing. In the meantime, Riya’s mother and father didn’t have a place to live or anything to eat. Also, they didn’t have clothes except the one they wore. This was the toughest phase for Riya’s parents.
